When your hungry out on the trail.....

Hi,

fancied doing something a little different over the past few months (with a few more to go, no doubt).

the original plan was a ifor Williams trailer, made that and had a lightbulb moment.

so as kind of a tribute to my wife as this kind of ties in to how we met and off road scale Rc.

 

so the build began, ideas popping up all the time, now I wanted it in some kind of finished state for the autumn scale nationals, alas not quite, few bits happened since but when you see the pics you will understand why I’m not finished.

 

now I know it’s far from a perfect finish but once a little weathering is done should blend some of the imperfections out (fingers crossed).

 

so here we go,

 

 

 

 

 

with a birds nest of wiring, we have lights!!

 

 

 

All switches and receiver for main door (servo operated) all in the nose box.

 

 

Running lights for when it’s a late finish...

and finally for now, one final pic of the crude axle bogey/chassis.

 

 

now I didn’t do a build thread, I don’t have a following so no point just me posting. This however does actually have some sentimental value to me.

 

my wife worked at a roadside cafe when we first met, she looked well and could cook, good enough for me I thought

^^^^^^  ooh I wish mate. Although she does like it. As she says (NOT in her own words) it could be going down the urinal at the local pub!
