atom3624
Mine runs great. I replaced the servos and diffs anyway, and run a Novak Mongoose system in it. Limited by battery size. Rides very smoothly, steers well, goes fairly fast. I like mine, and the MLST chassis takes quite a beating. Don't understand why several seriously knock it - never had a problem. Al. atom3624
It's a LONG time ago - still have it and really like it. Viscous centre diff. Ball diffs - not sure if it's just rear or front and rear - think it's both. Alloy everything where possible. Threaded red alloy shocks. Red alloy arms and chassis brace replaced for alloy. Servos probably Turnigy I think. Really not sure, but only problems I've had are with the connectors I used - micro-Deans for some reason. OK now. Like I say PERSONALLY, loved it and not had a problem. It's NOT a high performance truck, but mine does go well, perhaps mid- to late-twenties mph. (It's definitely not a MERV!). Standard Raminator wheels - grip well, look great.
atom3624
Not sure what the servos are - normal 3-pin into normal Rx so must be an 'option' of some description. Alloy servo savers. NEW photos - as is now. Guess the 'platform' - makes you realise how small the mini-Ram is and how big 'X' is!! Al.
evssv
cheers.....that one has a bit of ally on it...I see arms....sum carbon fibre underneath......I`ll have to see when it turns up....it was a last few seconds bid......like the last 6 secs I banged me bid in and won it........... That answers it
Geeze
They're pretty small, wheelbase is 185mm (same as a mini 8ight). The Savox 0257 is usually a good swap for the useless Losi mini-T servo but from memory there is (was) a mod to the servo plate that allowed you to run a single standard servo instead which would probably be much cheaper and better

Geeze
Yep, in the pic '4of5' that's the bottom of a standard servo wedged between the shock tower and the slipper cover. Stock they come with two mini-T micro servos (making them proper scaled down copy of the big LST).
evssv
yeah I did see this in pics after I bought it...I normally do sum home work before I buy any rc...but not this one.........doing it now......asiatees still have quite a few ally bits in stock for these...cheap aswell..... Geeze
You may not need much, can also see alloy arms, the upgrade shocks, electronics are changed out and appears to be some carbon lurking on the chassis Edit to say: Just been looking some more, reckon that's got the Exotek kit on it. Very nice. Edited March 13, 2017 by Geeze
