vwsplitty
Hi I took my erevo out for a ply this afternoon and I must amid I was running it quite hard then suddenly it sounded like the pinion or spur had come off. I stopped it straight away and below it what I found. It appears that one of the esc/motor bullet connector has unsoldered?? I can't think out it could get that hot to unsolder but not do any other damage to the plastic or such. Also what would make one wire suddenly do this and the others are fine? Will I be ok to just chop the wire and remake or do they need to be a certain length? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Noj
Could have been a weak joint, they happen. Wires should be identical lengths. Trim the heatshrink off the wire, remove the bullet from the Esc, re-tin the wire and resolder into the bullet.

vwsplitty
Thanks for quick replies guys. I will resolder and let you know. The screw was from Another motor I had as this motor had one missing but it doesn't screw in all the way. Any idea where I can get those little screws from turok007? vwsplitty
Haha that was a long time ago. Still going ok but haven't really used it much since late 2012. I was ragging it somewhat with 6s. Trying to get my little boy in to it but think he is still too young.
