Going to have to take a break from the hobby for a bit, and likely the forum too.

Before I start, don't suppose there is a masking guide anywhere online for the Repsol Cossie? Like what you get with the new shells?

Hope it's not too late, but here's how I did mine...

Cut all the decals that cover the main parts of the 3 colours.

Then dry fit them on the outside sticking them with small bits of masking tape.

Flip it over and mark on the inside with a pen where the masking will go, theres plenty of room for error as the decals will cover.

You can just make out in the pic below where I maeked, don't worry about the pen lines, iff done correctly the decals will cover them.

Then apply the decals. As you can see they covered the pen lines.

Below are the original Repsol decal sheets.

Heres a scanned copy of the original painting instructions, not very good but it's all I got lol

Hope that helps

I used plain paper first to make a template. Bit tedious making cuts here and there but after each cut I held it on the inside and viewed it from the outside.

You only need to cut the front, back and one side. Once you got one side cut transfer them onto the masking sheet, and for the other side flip the masking sheet.

So mark the template on the yellow part of the sheet, and them mark the template on the back side of the sheet.

This will then give you both sides.

Front and rear can be marked either side, it doesn't matter.

Anyone know where I can get tamiya shell parts from ie lights wings

What car is it for?

Lights as in LED's? plenty of pre wired LED's on ebay, the Tamiya unit is rather pricey.

Wings, again plenty on ebay or is it specific to a certain model?
