norcoforever
Well as 1 or 2 members know on here I've been slowly building a 5ive over the past 6 or so months. This started out as a mini wrc bought for the bargain price of £630 delivered. Originally it was going to stay as a mini but the limited wheel choices and awkward lack of bumpers meant that when the chance came up to trade many of the core parts for brand new 5ive parts and with a cage direct from freeprawn racing the creation before you arose. It is very nearly finished just got to add a spektrum dx4c and possibly a better engine The full spec is as follows Cy29cc engine Jetpro rear mount exhaust Turtle racing chassis braces Ddm alloy top plate Team fast eddy jam nuts Lost alloy servo arm Spektrum s9020 steering servo Spektrum s9010 throttle servo Team chase carb filter Alloy petrol cap Bartalone billet clutch housing Bartalone billet clutch carrier Bartalone mesh plate Bartalone cage panels Modified Rc centre different Rcr brake discs Rcr brake pads Fid racing throttle arm Ddm qr linkage Tfe alloy mud flap holders team chase bumper team chase steering set up fullforce rear mudguards Killer Rc headlights Craftwerks billet light covers Craftwerks extenders Fullforce brass fittings Killer rc fuel connectors Dt 1 filter Alloy rear cage mount outerwears Craftwerks spiked wheel nuts Super bee killswitch Ddm hard front and rear springs Bartolone skid plates Hot racing clutch bell Grafil extreme body shell custom painted Penta rear winglets Proline split six wheels Silver back beadlocks Proline trencher tyres Vertigo quick release mounts Hardened lightweight stub axles Team chase heavy duty centre diff cups Alloy body washers Swingy p body clips Fonzie steering links Alloy rear mudguards Fonzie shock end Hot racing alloy hinge pin holders Hot racing sway bar Hot racing alloy sway bar mount Hot racing sway bar alloy holders Rpm dirty danglers Cap pack Chassis protector Silver back 5imain wheels Silver back beringi wheels Km mx tyres Km foam Rcmodelz foams Hostile soft slicks Silver back beadlocks Ice alloy beadlocks Ice alloy wheel nuts 30° north body Outerwares for the cage alloy rear mud flap symbols Turnigy action cam Ddm body trim Hostile choke lever And a magic spoon Edited May 22, 2016 by norcoforever

norcoforever
Just now, Tug said: For bashing or racing? Nice car. Both I think. Primarily a basher atm. Well when it dries out lol but tempted to give a bit of racing a go
Tug
Not puddle-splashing it then? I know I wouldn't!

I did that with my first baja and five and the cost just isn't worth it. Plus this truck is heavy enough without adding mud. Turned into one of them there fair weather bashers
froggy8
i bet its a right nightmare cleaning it up when it gets muddy

Tug
Yup, fair weather all the way. Clay is the worst, even dry clay leaves you with an orange car! And wet clay? Don't even go there! Nice build, but be sure to get some vid, it's not gentlemanly to tease with just static pics!
norcoforever
Controller is due for delivery Monday and I've got days off Thursday and Friday so I'm hoping to get it broken in over those couple of days (hence the dirt buster tyres)

Still waiting for a reply. Going to chase it up today as they have had 2 weeks. I must admit without our trade I wouldn't have got the 5ive to where it is
Carpmart
It looks really good mate... I've also got my buggy with a narrower, more proportioned track, so it worked out well both ways TBH...
