    Thats a nice clean tidy van! Looks like a good find to me. Have got a soft spot for the escort vans, saw a mk1 today in mint condition. Bet it would be worth crazy money! Any one intressted in the chevette its on the road! Passed mot! Done a few hours driving in it yesterday and today. Ran well! Few issues that need sorting but it has put a big smile on my face! Well worth the hours spent welding her up, looks better underneath than on top... Still need some more money and lots of time to get it to show condition but happy enough for now! Could do with a 5speed gear box when not on country roads, it will sit at 50/60 okay but anything higher its reving too much for my liking/comfort! But thats next year or year afters issue!

      You don't find good discussions on FB, I think forums are much better for content but lack the social features and mobile interface.

       

      I'm going to give it a push soon though, I've been working on things behind the scenes like moving to a faster server (which was a nightmare with problems but we got through it!) and implemented secure HTTPS.

    Had it first start up today since re fitting the tank and a few other bits. Running well! Just waiting on some lowering springs and to get the front calipers back from being refurbed and then the interior will be put in and it will be Mot'ed. First major run will be easter weekend if the weather is okay!

      These ones I have aren't particularly tall at all and the wires come out the front, so they won't get stuck on the chassis, like the ones that come out sideways :)

    Ive a couple of sets of normal sized uber ball drive and they have held up well. One set i brought a few years ago now, has had both cups replaced foc under warrenty a year or two ago.

Drive cups/shalfs( i do have a set of ubers i could include) Rose joints Rear hubs(have got a set of hostiles i could include) Think thats about it. Good little car, i havnt had chance to use it much over the last year but it was a real head turner! I can send some pics via PM? Cheers

      Haha auto ive bashed with a hang over before... the headache stays with you all day(petrol rc's) 

      But would have to drive the 1/1 to get to the bash and im not driving with alcohol in my system! As it turns out poor show of people so we had to cancel.:(

    Hi all, Thinking about maybe purchasing a cheap 1/10 scale car for some on road fun over the winter. Wouldn't mind trying a bit of drifting, could I purchase a car to do both racing (not competitive) and drifting? I guess I would have to change the diff over, and maybe make it 4wd? Got a couple of 3s packs so only need the car! Cheers
