GAME OVER!!

Just received a letter this morning, dated 05NOV15 stating the December 2015 issue of Radio Race Car International will be the last issue.

Quite sad really .... and in particular now - I was waiting for a review of the X-Maxx - perhaps there will be in the final issue.

To those who contributed to the magazine, thank you for your informative presentations.

Al.

I used to pick it up from time to time, left it, then found some stories I really wanted were in editions I hadn't bought, so had it delivered for the last few years.

Anyway, back to the gossip columns, sorry, forums I suppose.

I've not long found the mag, as its hard to find in any shops. Unless you are near a big wh smiths. And they are closing shops all over.

Hopefully there will be a place for a digital magazine.

RRCi will be back in a digital format so it's not all over. And don't forget the Facebook page, if you have FB head over there and sign up.

are there any other magazines that cover rc cars????

Yeah there's Racer magazine, and my local specialist magazine shop used to stock a little American one which was quite good.

The old world is dead, long live the new!

Guessing this is down to publishing costs vs readers?

I hope an online version takes the place of the hard copy magazine.....much easier and less hassle to take to the loo and read on a tablet ;)

Don't fancy letting the wife's laptop fall down the bog!!

Tablets I take when I'm ill - find them an annoying convenience.

The bog is so far from the house, the wireless signal won't reach without sticking a booster in the shed.

T'wireless works fine, were listening to Radio Whippet on it this very morning....can't beat Bakelite and D Cell batteries :P
