Lipo charger

What battery mah size & voltage are you using bud?

Very important to get the right one in terms of watts and amps imo. If your using 6s for example a 50 to 80 watt charger is a waste of ££ and you could be waiting 2 hrs or more!!

Not a big lipo then :) I was assuming it was bigger.

50 watt 5 amp is spot on to charge 1 that size.

Using the Amps x Volts (max) = watts formula a 3000mah 3s needs 37.8 watts to get a full 1C charge rate

3a x 12.8v = 37.8watts needed per battery

Happy bashing buddy

Just had a look at the manual. The xbase deluxe has a lipo setting for the correct voltage for 1-5 cells but can only fast charge. There is no facility to balance the cells individually.

Personally for the lipo you are using I would get this charger and psu and then when you get another battery you can get a second low price charger and use 2 chargers on the same psu (could easily run up to 4). Way more efficient + quicker.

The chargers with a mains supply built in aren't very efficient and not as reliable in my experience.

yeah agree with you there, I have a big power supply and Hyperion dual charger, all singing and dancing, this was in a job lot and was merely offering a cheap charger if that's what op wanted.......
