  1. Wow, little bit of hate there guys!! Firstly, Yes I’ve not been as active as I once was, life changes... but who remembers when I ran the “pic of the month” competition on here... all prizes from that came out of my own pocket! No one complained about that! Secondly, I donate to several charities on a regular basis, I also 3d print props for a charity, these props are auctioned off and all money from the props goes directly to the charity. Thirdly, no one is stopping you making an offer... the “make an offer” button is turned on, so use it rather than be a keyboard warrior. (Cue the stupid people’s offers of £10 and a kit Kat chunky) Fourthly! and more importantly, read the description, the wife has made this call, We literally live in a 1 bedroom house, that’s pretty full already and I genuinely have no where to store this! She made the call, and for a happy peaceful life I have had to agree! But it’s cool, judge me all you like
  2. Thanks guys! haha I’m still around, popping in every now and then but Work and wife commitments have taken over a little bit, while also doing a lot of freelance modelling and printing too. I’ll still be around, I’ve a few RC based projects on my list that I’d love to do! So no doubt I’ll be asking silly questions again! Thanks again guys Ash
  3. Hi guys, looking for for a rolling chassis (as cheap as possible). I guess my criteria is • cheap • either nitro or electric (ideally electric) • not one of those magazine builds (if you get that I mean) • doesnt need to come with wheels or running gear etc. • cheap thanks guys
  4. Move very little experience with resin based printers, all I know (my boss has one) is that the resin needs to cure for 24h after the print, where filament printers just need to cool down and the part is good to go. You'll find that you don't get the filament ridges on a resin printer, or at least less obvious layering. Though if you run play around with nozzle size and layering you can achieve close results on a filament printer.
  5. Ooo not been on here in a while. Got my printer up and running, all is pretty sweet. Have been printing out some big parts with minimal issues. Finishing is a nightmare in PLA, a lot of sanding, but that's purely my fault as I could've filler primed and sanded which would've saved me a lot of time!!
  6. Long shot, anyone have a couple of spare stepper motors? Nema17 1.68/1.7a?
  7. Managed to make a little progress on mine...
  8. I'm still in the process of building mine... Last few parts from China will be here in the next week... Then the build can continue/finish build height - around 450mm
  9. Added some details, not really sure what to say, it's an iPad ?
  10. This link should work... Wasn't able to edit it before it was removed (I'm at work) http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-iPad-Air-2-16GB-Wi-Fi-4G-EE-9-7in-Silver-/252316104670?nav=SEARCH mint condition 2 months old locked to EE comes with original charger and glass screen protector. (In original box) £275 + £10 postage
  11. Mad soon as my printer is unissued I can have a bed size up to 300x400mm to bad that I need to print parts to build the printer.... Oh the irony
  12. Whats your bed size? Could you scale the model down?
  13. Even a cnc'd plate will bow under the same temps but not as much as an alloy sheet metal plate (the surface stresses are removed by the milling operation) you can spot weld a bolt to the centre of the plate to support the plate that way also.
  14. The build begins, it's going to be big!
