Well after posting a picture of my tinyhawk freestyle yesterday, this happened....
Completely my fault. I changed the connector to a xt30 to run a single 2s lipo instead of two 1s lipos.
I should of made the pigtail shorter.
I looped the battery strap around the battery wires and connector and the battery must have come lose.
I looked for it before it went dark but couldn't find it.
I was gutted, only done about 6 batteries.
I watched the crash over and over trying to work out where it landed.
I noticed it landed / bounced off a pitched slate roof which narrowed it down, all the other roofs are asbestos.
Got up early, and found the quad, a bit wet, visually looks like very little damage. All the props look good.
This is were I've been really lucky, the battery wasn't attached but was only two feet away.
The electronics could be dead as they spent a night outside in the damp weather.
But, hopefully after a few days drying out there's a chance it may be OK 🫰.
Proper got the bug for my old hobby of Carp fishing, dont see me getting so much time for rc cars so i will be going through and moving on a lot of models
