Though I don't think it would happen as I could barely touch the ground and if it had a full tank of fuel I'm not sure it be able to keep it up right when I come to a stop lol They do a version with a dual clutch gearbox as well, awesome machines these!

Oh How Original
Not posted in here for a while, mostly due to not using the bike a whole lot. Got out today though for a good 200 odd miles, seemed like a good day for a friendly ride, some nice views, very nice donuts and some right silly cow! Did Middleton, Alston, Kielder, Hadrians Wall, Brampton, Carlisle, Penrith and home.
GunnersRC
Love the old 600.Just picked myself up an FZS1000 to join the CBR1100XX, was sitting for 2 years so got a bit of a deal on it, get there and it has an Ohlins shock that costs more than i paid for the bike, brand new [emoji43]Very pleased, must get rid of the purple bits though [emoji1785]Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk
Oh How Original
As it's my birthday today, I had the day off work and decided we would go for a good run out, just shy of 200 miles later we're home. Took some pictures along the way... Weird stuff happened though, I am 28, on the 28th, when I checked the time this morning before setting off it was 9.28, the weather check half way around said 28C and when we arrived at the cafe the waitress was shouting the order for table 28 and this morning we filled both bikes up on the same pump and it was 28.3L of fuel drawn. I don't believe in all that kinda stuff but that was weird as hell!

Oh How Original
Had a ride on this the other evening, really wish it had been during the day so I could have had a proper go, but the lad insisted I stay out for at least an hour or more to get a feel for it. Needless to say, it was very very good fun and I quite want one now. My first experience on a sports bike and apart from the speed triple I tried which I really didn't like, it's my first time on a 1000.
Oh How Original
To any of your chaps out there with large partners or pillions, can you give me some recommendations for bikes that are good for carrying weight? I'm not thin myself, nor is my partner and looking at something to buy over this winter, when prices tend to drop a little bit. Top of the list right now, having not ridden one yet though, based purely on looks and reviews is a GSX1400, closely followed by the usual XJR1300, Bandit 1200 etc... Any little diamonds I might be missing? Budget about 5k, could push to 6k for a particularly perfect fitting bike. I know it won't be anything new, but don't want something 20-25 years old either, would rather wait longer and save some more cash to get something if necessary, but needing suggestions please. NITO
Congratulations Yoodoo, wonderful feeling isn’t it!! OHO, Can highly recommend the Aprilia Caponord ETV. It’s an adventure tourer, Rotax V twin 1000cc engine, its a cracking bike, will scratch about like a sports bike and shrugs off carrying big weight, doesn’t even notice barely when loaded like a camel. 1

yoodoo
My new old bike. Bought it as a non runner and took a chance. Condition is excellent considering the age. It had a DATATAG OR TOOL alarm on it that disabled the ignition. After an afternoon of stripping the alarm out of the loom I fired it up . It had been sitting for eight years and ran like a dog. I pulled the carbs off and rebuilt them using the rebuild kit. I borrowed a balancer and balanced the carb together and fired it up again. Runs like a dream and tons of poke in it. Great buy and cheap as chips.

My dad has a gsx 1400, ive never ridden it but he's had it over 10 years & he loves it its a big ol beast obviously & would easily take two larger adults IMO, plus they at one time where cheap as chips, not sure now.
