rushboy2004 Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Hi All Got 2x4s Lipo's - 33 and 36 cycles old, are minimum spec for car so admit they have had a hard life, but where working fine. They have been at storage voltage since October last year, I charged and balance this weekend - OK with no problems, but when I used them in the car the ESC lvc kicked in after 20 seconds, rest for 30 seconds I get a another 20 second blast. Now car works fine with new battery of same specs. When checked on meter voltages show 4.18 per cell during rest. So have the cells gone bad during storage? should I try and cycle them on charger or just ditch them. Anyone else had this. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lilllad83 Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Change ur connectors oxidisation has probably built up making a weak join, happens to my revo every few months. rushboy2004 Posted July 20, 2015 Author Share Posted July 20, 2015 Well I cycled the batteries twice on the charger 3000mah out, 3000mah back in but made no difference, I also replaced the deans connector as well still no change.
