antnee
how did you make the axels on it??
Rover Man
how did you make the axels on it?? I used two spare Marder rear uprights that i had lying about. Just mounted then with some alloy brackets that i made myself. Its far easier if you can adapt parts you already have lying around. One of the other lads from the race used the Threaded bar method and it didn't last one lap DAVE.
antnee
so do you have a bit of suspension movement then?
Rover Man
so do you have a bit of suspension movement then? Just very slight. Its the movement in the plastic uprights. But by far the best way is if you can get a cheap complete rear end set up from somewhere. One of the guys was running a complete rear end from a Savage and it worked very well. Well until one of the other guys took im out with a not very friendly overtaking maneuver DAVE.
Ziggy122
u cud solder a Bar onto a chassis which has a Hub on it like a Rush Evo's or sumet?? That way u could also get a little bit of suspension in there Ziggy

ashley b4 123
Depends how you build it!!!! I didnt have to loosen tighten fix anything on my caravan when i raced it and i used the threraded bar method. antnee
how much would a good size sheet set me back?
arris
depends on thickness, just go b+q or something and see,
Rover Man
Unless you've got a good workshop aluminium will be difficult to work with. Cutting and joining will be a pain in the neck. Just use 12mm MDF for the chassis. Easy to cut and easy to join. And if your making a box trailer or caravan use 6mm for the sides and bendy MDF for the roof. That's what i used and as you can see you can get a very good caravan shape with it. DAVE.

Gaz201
when i was into nitro i got sick of carrying fuel roto start and glow staters and stuff so i built a trailer for my savage as it was a fair walk to the bashing spot i used alot of good parts for it but managed to make it so i could pinch the parts back off it should i need them for the truck heres a vid after watching those vids again i might have to dust off the old girl later she was a killer
wolfie1
an axle of a kyosho madforce or a hpi wheely king would be ideal to make a trailer
