Plus the fact it weighs nearly 5kg itself.

So essentially with a LiPo it wouldn't be far off Baja weight...

It doesn't :)

It says FOR USE IN BUGGIES/TRUGGIES/TRUCKS UP TO 5KG

Still...have to wonder if 90A max is enough. 6S with that does sound like a problem waiting to happen as well. The question for me, though, is whether ANY of the amp figures quoted for ESCs are actually properly measured. Does an XERun actually handle what it claims? Does this?

TBH running 6s will be easier on the esc than running 4s, geared for the same top speed running on 6s and 4s the 4s setup will pull a lot more amps, as the old saying goes "volt up, gear down" ;)

True, but if you "volt up and gear down", you'll still pull more current than a sensible 4s set-up.

It wouldnt pull my revo 3.3 then last time I weighed that it was 13lbs says wii fit resisterd as a dog lol. It makes me wonder if people think about that when doing 1/8 truck conversions.

I dont see why they've made this set up tho isnt the mamba monster the king, will this be a cheaper alternative or replace the mamba it just looks like a mamba max pro with a cap pack fitted and different motor case. It will be intresting to watch how this compares.
