Kit arrived to today and built it up in a few hours this afternoon, no real problems, but the diffs were as fiddly as I remembered

Just trying to decided what esc to run, think im going to give one of these a go

Looks a good esc to use, I am using 60a trackstar esc I had to raise the body mounts but I am happy with it.

I need to shorten the wires and tidy it up when I get a chance, raising the body gives quite a good amount of space under there so it opens up alot of choice for esc's, I could probably stick the fan back on but don't see that it needs it really

Still waiting on the lipos and bullets to connect up the motor, as you can see I'm modding the battery/esc position and running smaller 1300mah lipos :)

Spun the esc round and now I can fit the fan

The battery posts are just mocked up in position, once the lipos arrive I will drill and fix them in place and fab up a strap from some 1.5mm carbon fibre sheet I have ;)

Are they sos carbon or the lc carbon top deck and towers, I use long batteries so have to mount esc on the top deck, gotta love the shiney newness :)

These seem pretty tough to get hold of, are they discontinued? I couldn't see them in stock at Apex.

Just read AJs first build, look like a great little buggy a & fun build too!

Edit ! Just found them! At Apex too.

I would run everything on the chassis if it would fit. The front sos cf tower I had snapped I have the v2 sos tower but not had chance to fit it yet but I do like them.

I think wheelspin have them in stock

A couple updates on my build

Now got alloy hex's (GPM M8's) and M8 soft springs

The new front springs are a lot softer than the stock fronts and the rear are about the same taking into account that they are a touch longer

Also got some RPM rod ends

I couldn't decide what colour to go for

Looking like it'll be another neat & tidy install as always

Have your batteries arrived yet? If so, have you any photos of them fitted with the esc in that position.
