Some offset don't fit as they catch the ball ends, it's my personal preference to use nothing below 3mm offset as then I know they will with no problems, 6mm offset are even better I've found through using a lot of different types of wheels over the years, I buy mine from China most of the time and just wait for them to be delivered the same as the tyres, they are cheap enough it's just the waiting for them to arrive that is the pain really. Si.

Yes I can't see why 2.2 rear buggy tyres shouldn't fit without a problem on the stock truggy wheels I would think they are the same size as the stock tyre, if you do fit them let us know which you've gone for and how durable they are if you can.

1/10 12mm hex touring wheels with whay I have found best to have at least 3mm offset should be fine for the buggy, I have used contact foams but use the rally patrern style tyre now with a 6mm offset wheel to give a wider stance, for the truggy the 2.2 rear buggy wheels may need the extended axles because the offset of the stock truggy wheels is alot different to most of the 2.2 buggy wheels. I've got road tyres on 2.2 buggy wheels using narrow fronts with the 15mm extended axles on my truggy.

They've copied the lc10b5 by the look of it too, 104001 a rtr ,be interesting to see what it turns out like

I have a mini 8ight and it is a great little car, there's a lot of spares on ebay still for them, they are still pretty popular over in the states it seems and I've heard a rumour that a new version might be on the cards although it's not confirmed it would be great to have them back in production. It was the first mini rc that I bought and it holds its own against the lc racing emb-1's that I have now although it has had plenty of hop ups to make it a better buggy. Si.

I put spacers under the stock body mounts to raise the body and had a big ass 60amp esc on the top deck no fan on, depending on what motor, gearing and sticking to 2s batteries you will get away with not having to have a fan on the 60a esc

Yes I had 6850kv go running on 2s only, geared down too because it was getting very hot, if you can get hold of the leopard motors snap them up, i have been running a leopard non sensored 2838 5200kv for years and no problems at all and that's been in standard buggy and still in my lwb conversion, i put the blue 2845 5400kv banggood special in my son's buggy and it has held up well and actually performing pretty good geared with stock 60t spur and 18t pinion. I still have a new tenshock 6850kv in my spares box.

That is true, I have spent on hop ups on all my mini's, I think if postage can be reduced he has some decent parts and the mini racing is having a resurgence it would seem, if you search for the micro racing uk forum it has stated back up, I can't post the link it is against this forums rules.

He is looking in to getting postage costs down for UK deliveries, he is on the lc racing Facebook groups with updates regularly about his products, let's hope he can get the postage down because at the moment it is almost the same price as the parts.

You can get dished 1/10 touring/drift wheels and then add your tyre choice or Schumacher do some dished wheels too. These are some on my mini 8

It does seem a bit weird buying a cheap buggy and then spending more than double or treble it's cost on upgrades to make it something that the lc racing buggy is almost straight out of the box 😁

Droop adjustment, they should be screwed in and they set the droop of the suspension arm as said above they push on the chassis to stop the arms from travelling to far down and stop undue stress on the suspension, you can set them to lower your vehicle for different terrain and get better handling

1/10 touring wheels and rally pattern tyre depending on where you're running it, I've found these wheels and tyres last pretty well on road use and not bad for loose gravel. I try and go for 6mm offset gives a wider stance but 3mm offset will fit ok. Used the mount on the shock tower although the bodies from phat bodies you can use self adhesive velcro strips on to the side guards, that's how I've mounted the body on my lwb buggy so the body mounts aren't used.

Raise the body mounts you'll squeeze that esc under there lol, I stuck a massive esc in my original emb-1 by raising the mounts and stuck it on the top deck,the top deck is a little different on this buggy but I can't see why an emb top deck wouldn't be a direct replacement

I agree it is a good price and nice little buggy for a starter car although some of those on the Facebook group have made them pretty good with the brushless systems and alloy parts they are getting some pretty good speeds out of them lol, some are modding them so much they could have bought lc racing twice over.

Lc racing put out an statement about them not having anything to do with this buggy wltoys have copied it as they do with some other brands too, I am on the group on Facebook as I was interested in seeing the comparison to the lc's and have seen the amount of broken buggies and seen some that have been ok but they definitely aren't as durable as the lc racing vehicles

There's a group on Facebook for these, quite a few have changed to 540 brushless system as it has a 540 brushed already in them ,they aren't made of the strongest materials but they have many parts interchangeable with the lc racing emb-1. Direct drive no slipper, slightly different diffs. There's a few doing speed runs too getting pretty good speeds.

Thread the aerial through the front body mount on the top deck, that's what I do with mine.

I kept mine swb for ages and it is a fun buggy, I have a truggy, I then bought a rally car version cheap and used the chassis and bits off of that to convert to lwb, i have spares to make a swb again but i don't really see the need to do that with the lwb being a better buggy in my opinion,
