Nitroholic Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 The shaft slides in from the side, with the flat face pointing towards the opening. Then you slot in the little brass piston part and fit the disc and pads. When you move the brake arm, it pushes the brass piston out, which forces the discs against the fixed pads. grumpygramps Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 thanks for that, is there anything holding the lever in place? also do I need the gearbox back out to fit it ? as the truck is pretty much assembled now haha If the truck's back together - take one of the TVP's off and the rear bulkhead assembly, take the rear drive shaft out, then you you can get to the back of the tranny to put the piston in (after the lever..).
