41 year old virgin

Hi. Planning to make my rc debut at the tender age of 41, mainly so that me & my eldest son can build and race together and partly to get him off that damn Xbox!! Thinking of starting with a couple of Tamiya buggies or touring cars for garden/car park bashing with a view to upgrading to racing specs if he enjoys it. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Hi fellow noob!

I've had loads of fun building and running my first RC buggy (only got it at Christmas). The Tamiya kits are very noob friendly from my experience (very clear instructions). I went for a Sand Viper as it comes with oil dampers and bearings.

I'm getting fed up with Xbox, so this gets me out with the kids
