Tear101
I would like some new tires for my 2wd slash but not at traxxas prices. What cheaper brands would you recommend? ive heard a few good things about Ansmann addict, anyone tried these?
Thorpey69
I've bought wheel and tyre combos from Ansmann before, much cheaper than traxxas and worked really well, although I can't remember which model they were.

Tear101
Cheers for the response guys, I've heard a lot about pro line being good but the price puts me off a bit. Sorry about the spelling but it was a long hard day!
VulcanAndy89
Those suggestions have helped me as well, so when I eventually come to get new tyres for my Slash 4x4, I'll consider Pro-Line. Are there any other decent makes of tyre other than the ones mentioned above?
Noj
FAstrax tyres are ok, their rims are very poor in my experience. Proline are strong and resilient tyres, the tread lasts very well and are worth the investment. Badlands are my tyres of choice for grass, the grip is excellent. Worth spending on....poor tyres wear out quickly and spoil a good bash IMO.
RCMonkee
I had to use alloy wheel hex's with the Fastrax wheels as they are kind os soft plastic and where rounding off. For the price theay are good for bashing. Few peopl at my club have started using the Louise tyres, not sure what they are like. They look good! http://www.louiserc.com/products_detail.php?M=0&uID=1&cID=16&Key=

Jacksprogis
Why buy a 17mm hex kit and get a set of nanda blocks I use them on my slash and they have been good so far This I run them too but they put heavy strain on the axles . I still use my proline 12mm stuff too .

MrPug
I use JConcepts Subcultures on mine. I run on dirt and they work really well. They came with my SC10 RS, but I liked them so much I bought a pair for the Slash, too. Here they are: http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_46&products_id=386 Edited March 21, 2013 by MrPug
