  1. Hi yeah it was literally the only place I could find them. I'm going to get the front bumper on and sort out the other minor bits and pieces then park it for a bit.
  2. Yeah thanks I got that impression from reading about them. Usually I would just re-solder them but I don't have a lot of my tools any more that I used to have. I found a set on ebay but they are in China so I'll just wait it out for now
  3. The build is pretty much there.. I have just an issue with my motor and ESC having different size bullet connectors due to me buying a slightly longer can motor than I normally would. I guess I need a 4mm - 3.5mm bullet reducer or something similar. The ESC is an EZRUN Max 10. I can't find any anywhere. I can see Modelsport do the 5mm to 4mm reducers.
  4. Got a bit further.. please anyone shout if you see I've screwed something up! The gap at the front where the main shaft goes to the diff looks a bit 'interesting' https://photos.app.goo.gl/VntTKbCGTNTqVk9H6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/p9GVbwTLu1mvG3k9A https://photos.app.goo.gl/y75AHtYxDh3cSdYNA https://photos.app.goo.gl/iDvrHDHiQ3vUthxP8 MrPug
  5. Looks ace. I'm taking my time to relieve the boredom whilst at home. 😅 Any parts of the build you can think of that were a bit fiddly? I had a look around the web and couldn't see any build threads anywhere.. 😕
  6. Hi all, Anyone else built/building an SR chassis? I have various bits on the way and started on building the chassis. Thoughts are it's a nice bit of kit. Some areas like the driveshafts and the hubs have been a bit tricky. I scuffed the top arm with my new long nose pliers. The old set were so worn they didn't wreck things when you used them! 😅
  7. Hi all, I have ordered an EZRUN 3652 motor and notice it has a temperature sensor port on it. Does anyone know what this is for? I'm assuming you can plug something into it to give an easily readable temperature reading? I have googled and searched but can find nothing that sounds like what I'm assuming would plug in there... Is it a lead that comes from the ESC to auto shutoff or something similar? MrPug
  8. Try some RPM arms .. that'll flatten them out and lower the CoG.
  9. looks like thetino got in first... payment pending. I'll update accordingly.
  10. Hi all , I have a few PMs so will check timestamps and let you all know
  11. Hi All, I'm back to sell the last of my collection. Its a see what you get Traxxas Stampede VXL (EZRUN) that has had some fun hours through it. It probably needs a clean, strip down and grease and the steering servo horn will need replacing. There are a number of hop-ups. EZRUN SC10 ESC with EZRUN 10T motor (one of the proper ones not the 380 size ones) Aluminium gearbox case 4x4 driveshafts fitted Mega strong hao bo rear shocks. Aluminium bulk head Proline arm kit Proline wheels and tyres Replacement front bumper Aluminium shock caps Wheely bar that actually works and doesn't break like the stock one 3 shells well used. Spares will be included Ansmann w5 receiver and radio included Please note like I said it probably needs some TLC and the steering horn needs fixing. There maybe the odd bent thing here or there I don't know.. it ran fine until the steering horn broke and I haven't touched it since.

  16. If your servo broke first run I would guess it was over extending and this stripping the gears. The standard s28 wheels and tyres should work fine. To be honest if you want the s50 gearbox and engine I would just buy the whole s50 truck.
  17. As far as your list is concerned if you are sticking with the standard .28 engine all other parts should be fine. If you are putting in a bigger engine, you may need the s50 gearbox, but the diffs are okay on the s28. Cvds and hexes are fine. Just glue the hexes into the wheels.
  18. Post sent too early stupid phone lol. I've edited that response
  19. Out of the things you've mentioned it doesn't sound like much has broken... What exactly is failing on the truck? Jumping this truck will break stuff unless you are landing it perfectly each time. To get mine jumpable I changed the shock springs and oil, put rpm arms all round and added a second roll bar in case it landed on its roof.
  20. Sounds like you bash pretty hard so expect it to break every time I'd be quite happy if mine lasted an hour when I'm ragging it. Donuts with wheels and tyres that big is going to strip the hexes all day long. On mine I used to use putty cement to bond the hex to the wheel. Then I used two locking nuts on each wheel. I didn't have any problems after that.
