WEll its been a while since my last update, but I have been busy redesigning the chassis, today finally the parts I designed got delivered and I managed to get some of them assembled together :good:

Big thanks to highlander for machining the axle carriers :)

 

I still have a fair few parts to make but its nice to see a chassis I have designed myself coming to life ..... here is hoping it works :lol:

Ah, ive been waiting for this :lol: glad to see they fit alright then!

 

Yeah they fit the chassis spot on fella, I just need to get a new axle sorted so I can check it all lines up spot on lol

 

But so far V2 is coming together nicely :good:

Making some good progress with the chassis today, after a bit of swearing, filing, dremeling and drilling IT HAS WHEELS now lol

Also I have opted to let the bellypan semi-float on orings to allow plenty of flex:

still plenty of tweeking to do, but at least is starting to look like a car again :)

well they fit, so that's a start, should be testing them in a couple of weeks, they do look the business tho :

Looks amazing that, if you don't mind me asking, how much you into it? Always been curious what something like this would actually cost to build.
