i had a feeling this would happen :(

2. the 8mm bullets are really hard to remove, and one time i removed it and it removed itself from the wire.

Not good if the bullet comes away from the wire, bad soldering. The 8mm's need to be squeezed gently on the ends to close the pins slightly, then they should fit in snug and pull out with a little bit of force.

like i said previously, its hard to solder when its very cold out.

also, do you think a slipper would help prevent this from happening again?

considering your so far below the rated specs of the esc i would be considering that maybe its a general fault with the esc not your setup

no news yet, will update when something arrives.

i have been waiting for a few days for the speedo to arrived.

tried an old dying castle mamba max on 5s with it, and it killed that esc

A mamba max, really? Wouldn't even run a 1/8 with that, let alone a 1/5

What were you expecting

fitted the replacement ESC, but now a new problem.

cogging, really bad.

the transmission runs okay, batteries are fine, tried messing with the transmitter, checking motor wires, all seem fine.

when i hold he rear up, it cogs, then gets going again, but on the ground, it barely moves
