Owned one before trading up to the beemer, horridly cheap interior (the plastic console by the base of the gear stick and parcel shelf in particular) but such a fantastic engine, so much poke for a 1.7.... Pretty boring 1.9tdi My weekend toy.. My favorite part.. My little beasty 1293 turbo, running a 266 cam, mild head work, arp suds throughout, forged accralite pistons, crank balanced and polished, straight cut drop gears and box. It runs a around 12psi through a renault 5 intercooler, last time on the dyno it made 140bhp@15psi, it's built for 18-22psi, but it's fun enough at lower boost! Sure the wheels are from a mk2 popular model worth a few quid to someone who needs a set to put there car back to original don't ruin it fitting alloys. Its a fiesta lx (cayman) 1.3 cat manufactured dec 93 and registerd jan 94 imported from poland. I have alloys for it but not silly ones, got a few sets of pepperpots and some ronal r2's.
