  1. I've got myself a CBF1000 2013 - Lovely (but basic) bike. Got full panniers and backbox, me and my brother are off to the NC500 in June. Can't wait! I'll get some pics up of the bike soon.
  2. Been a while, but back into RC - with my 6 year old lad.  1/10 2wd buggy indoor carpet racing.  Love it.  He has a Schumacher Cougar KC and I have the TA B6.2.  Addictive - and expensive!  Hope you're all well.

  4. Arrma Talion 6s v4 2019 Bought for: £459 Sell price: £300 What do you get for the £300?
  5. The 80's called. It wants it's buggy back.
  6. Just looking on Modelsport and they have these for a reasonable £359.00 all in. I have the lipo's, Xpert steering servo and my trusty old Sanwa MT4 TX/RX to use. Anyone got one of these? - Just thinking of getting back into RC but will only really be used once every few weeks. Unless there are alternatives you can recommend? Al.
  7. Just recently bought myself a 2011 Ducati Multistrada 1200s. Ohlins semi active suspension and Brembo brakes. Rider modes, ABS, DTC the lot! - Got it in black with carbon bits. The engine is an L-Twin 11 degree Testastretta with 150 bhp. It's sounds like a bag of nails on tick over and is very..... agricultural 😁 Once on the go, it's nice and smooth with plenty of pull, sat upright so it's comfortable.
  8. Hello all, I've been out of RC for many years and want to get something to get me back in. After a 1/8 Truggy Nitro roller, 1/8 Electric roller (motor and Esc would be nice too), electric SC truck would be good too - again with motor and esc if poss. Let me know what you have, inc price and I'll have a look! Thanks, Al.
  9. Hello folks, been a very long time.  Hope you're all well.  Think it's time I got back into RC.  Now where's my 6s ? 😃

  12. Hi chaps/chappettes, I'm after a 1/8 Truggy roller (nitro), with or without wheels. Must be in good condition and not ridiculously expensive! - Losi, Serpent, Mugen etc etc. What you got? Thanks, Al.
  13. @Oh How Original Yeah the Blackbird is a lovely big bike, comfy and unbelievably fast. Trouble is with them sort of bikes they don't give you much in the way of flexibility if things get hairy, they just spit you out! Defo try several bikes, do a mixed ride over a good few miles and see how you get on. Supersports are ok but with gixxer I was so far forward over the tank and it made my wrists ache. Now a 2003 Fireblade I tested felt pretty good so it's one of them. Just don't rush it, I did and got the wrong 1st big bike. For reference though I'm 6ft and 13st.
  14. I had a GSX-R600 as my first bike when I passed my test in 2011. It was brand new as well, L0 I think the model was. Just a rev happy warp machine, too cramped and hunched for me and also pretty crap down low in the rev range so I sold it. The 750 I also had a go on and it's a different animal, faster and sharper but just more of the same really. I then got a 2005 VFR800 Vtec, much much better. Easier to ride, good low down torque and comfortable, still plenty fast and would recommend that over gixxer all day long. I kept that for over 5 years and sold it 2 weeks ago. I also did a European tour on the VFR and was epic. Oh and the insurance was £89 fully comp lol. @Oh How Original
  15. So what have I missed :D

@big gaz Yeah, I know that may be a bit selfish but I had been committing to the forum, it is the only one I am on actively. I have just taken out a gold membership to support this place, and now I no longer feel like supporting it as much.

  16. Haven't really started looking yet. As long as it's nice I'll go for it!
  17. Honda Super Blackbird or CBR954rr ?

I too did agency work around 14 years back ....ended up in many courier warehouses!!

Bottom line is, your a means to an end for them, you miss a day for any reason....no job tomorrow....

They are a scam they tell you work hard and after a year you can apply with the acfual factory. But 11months in they lay you off anyway. I was let go then my mates told me a van full of fresh recruits replaced me and others.

So we didn't get full time jobs cutting ther placements.

Employers pay the agency alot more than their staff but aren't liable to agency staff so save loads in the long run.

Wasnt it the other year Tories vowed to get more in work. So they took a mans full time job and gave it to two agency staff to share. Gave both working tax ctedits and told the public they came good on the vow to lower job seekers. Without saying they doubled working tax credits.

Its all a scam my first agency took me on at 15. They lied on my behalf to the warehouse. But soon got rid of me once they could. About 8wks after.

  19. First go at RC for probably a year.  The Rally car with 3s, forgot how much I love RC :) The thing is rapid!
