Both a friend and I got Raven Flyingwings the other week..

We've both put LEDs on them today and were planing to go out tomorrow evening to a playing field that is on a hill above the town I live in...

Should be fun... :hahadance:

Went for a day light flight test yesterday,

just to see how the Raven flew with the extra weight of the LEDs and to test how long the flight time would be

as the LEDs draw 400ma per meter per hour and I have over 2 meters of LEDs on my Raven..

Worth watching as peter lost his flying wing....

We got it back form the guy , who's house window it hit , lol ,

He said "he shat him self" as all he saw was this bright light coming at the window at around 10.30pm last night,,,,

His house is about 1 mile away from where we were flying..

It's one of the best laughs ...

You just know that someone , somewhere is thinking UFO's :shockingscary: .

Nobody else that we now of is into Flyingwings / Combat wings ,

never mine the idea of heading out at 9.30pm to go night flying or even better night combat.. :hahadance:

I'm sure were going to get a warning from the club committee about our antics.. :whistling:

LED lights are from Hobbyking

you'll need a lead that plugs into your balance plug.

If you choose the shorter (20cm) LED strips they have plugs on that plug into the above lead.

if you choose the brighter 1 meter lenght LED strips , you have to cut plugs off and solder the wires together

or solder plugs onto the LED strip lights..
