if its a new engine it will need to be warmed up before starting(hairdryer) as when engines are new they are very tight. Get it nice and hot and try again, make sure its well primed and that the starterbox is turning the engine over the right way. David EDIT: Reread your post..... still good advice though

20t should be ok, I run 19t but that's more preference than anything as 18t just donuts around when fast cornering.. David
