MissT Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 Today I spent 3 whole (accumulated) hours on the Lunchie! Finished cleaning it. Fitted ballraces in the transmission, & greased the cogs. (I'd already done the wheel bearings) Fitted the new Torque Tuned motor. Almost finished the 5th shock mod. (Waiting for the little bracket to go at the top) Fitted the extended/big wheels wheelie bar. Removed the old electrics (msc, receiver, servo) Trial fitted the receiver. The ESC will do, but the on/off button doesn't fit through the gap between the battery tray and transmission well, the standard Castle one doesn't anyway, and even if you loosen the transmission the gap still isn't big enough lol, it's a really annoying design flaw! I'm supposed to be in bed now but decided to trial fit the mysterious (to me) electrics together. Unbelievably it all works, but in reverse of what it should.
