Yrkoon Posted November 28, 2010 Share Posted November 28, 2010 (edited) the sand viper is pretty decent http://www.modelspor...roduct_id=25690 if you can find a kit version, the kit one comes with all bearings to fully ball race it and i have seen them for about 70 or 80 pounds which would leave some room for cheap radio gear, the kit comes with a speed controller and 540 motor. plus you can build it with your bro so he gets a good understanding of how it works etc im running mine with a 21 turn motor from the stock 27 turn even though the speed controller is only rated down to 23 turns, im not sure how easy spares are to come by though as i havent broken much on it, its surprisinlgy solid plus i bought a second kit for spares for about 70 quid. so when your bro goes its too slow now you can upgrade the motor plus 2 wheel drive is more fun Edited November 28, 2010 by Yrkoon Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
