Hi all, I purchased a maverick ion sc truck for my 4 year old little boy last xmas, which he loved, at the back end of the summer it started to play up. The throttle stopped working all of a sudden, and now the steering has gone too. The battery is fully charged each time I have tried it out to no avail. It has just gone out of warranty so sending it back isn't an option. I suspect a faulty esc/rx unit, has anyone had any similar problems with this truck? TBH its a great little truck for

Having just purchased a hyper 7 in the for sale section I was wondering what fuel I would need to use? it comes with the hyper 21 sport engine. Is 16% ok? cheers simon

Trex 500efl pro, I have owned this heli from new and has never been crashed. The heli will comes with x3 ds510mg servos, ds520 tail servo, align 500mx motor, and align 70amp esc. Basically all of the stock gear you get with the supercombo kit minus the fbl unit. The heli does have some minor niggles that I will mention. There are two screws which are stripped that go into the tail control links, there are small chips on the main/tail blades where the blades have folded back in transit. I made an attempt at making the frame larger where the tail servo goes and bodged it so moved the tail servo to the opposite hole which is just fine. The pic below hopefully shows this. Its very unlikely you will damage a fbl unit in a crash, most are placed on a heli to keep them out of crash damage, I have yet to even damage or destroy a gyro,fbl unit.

The X4 is a 500 sized heli not a 450, the gaui quality is reported to be better than that of align, I have a trex 500efl pro which the qaulity is more than ok well above average. On the flip side the quality of an align heli is higher than that of a blade type heli, the trex 450 is of better quality than that of the blade 450x, although I've got it on good information that the blade 450x holds its own up against the align model. If it was in you position i would go for the blade 450x dont think it will dissapoint. Also as mentioned the beastx is a better unit than the 3gx i have flew both the the beastx is superior. You have to consider if you would be up to building the trex 450 from scratch and setting it up to fly? the blade 450x comes pre assembled and would only require minor tweaking.
