    whats the budget and were do you plan to run it? For the canals / small streams etc me and the lad like the little cheap ftx vortex, runs decent enough for brushed.

    That was the purpose of this, so we can change sales threads to sold. Eg. I had to bump this thread to request it to be locked. It wasnt locked and still looked for sale. Thus its now edited as sold in the title. This way im not having to bump other peoples sales threads off the page with a unrequired post.

    I am running them but they are on the gatekeeper right now, i did use the plastic at the start but upgraded every bit to metal. The metal steering is a bit longer than stock for some reason, so i needed to make a new one, again used the element steering bar with traxxas rod ends.

    least post a pic of it outside the box ya tease... What is this an ESC for ants? 8AWG power leads and motor leads is good stuff! Bugger to soldier hope you got a big iron.

    I say the same for the high-rock. They feel and drive really nice, few issues but those are quite easy to sort. And with your direct shock setup the same chassis now. They can be a bit top heavy, would get it to droop as low as possible and it will perform better with some 25qid metal axles transform it into a really planted crawler.

    Impressive indeed, came out well! Along with how long id be keen to know what the body weights, im going to guess around 1.2 - 1.5kg?

    Yes beadlocks will fit, although most tires i found dont like beadlocks. For context i got gmade 1.9 beadlocks to fix the fasttrax rally block tires. They will however pull out the bead from to much rpm or hard turning rolling the sidewalls out of the beadlock.

    Really? Why is it sold with an Max6 8s esc then? Mine didnt explode on 8s. When i ran it..,

    I always found the ftx trans to be very quiet the body does add some echo, with a noisy motor i noticed it, could probably benifit some non ftx grease in the diffs and transfer case and i put a dab of grease on the spur also vs a r1 transmission tho these are silent.
