  1. What's with used car price's being all over the place and the "lack" of used cars? I thought the majority of the country bought new cars over the various lockdowns so where are the one that've been PX'd or have perfectly fine ones been scrapped for a discount on electric ones?

The dealer I brought my van from phoned me on Friday. I brought my van in Jan 2020, on 6000 miles. Its now Jan 2022, its on 50k, Ive scraped the side, it needs tyres soon, and its MOT is due next month. They offered me £1k more than I paid 2 years ago despite the extra mileage/damage.

Only issue is, if I was to take them up on that offer, the new van Id need is now £4/5k more than it ‘used’ to be =/

Yeah the worlds going mad 😂

i bought my subaru sti in 2008 for £9000

      There now selling between £16-20000.

average car price is up £3000.

As mr powell says the problem with selling is you loose out buying another one.

Smaller cars have their own bubble add in ULEZ around London and prices are silly - Mostly anything diesel before 2016 is basically junk
