      ahh, yeah i think i know what you mean. mine being a smaller engine should be fine im guessing.

      If its not that powerful its not worth the conversion. If the manufacturers have stated drums and you havn't modified the engine to in crease BHP then they know best.

    heres the update guys

     

    got the drum brakes, brake cleaner and the hose clamp. just need to wait for the glide piece and grease then i can start on the job, hopefully will turn up tomorrow :)

    hey guys could anyone tell me where abouts do i need to apply copper grease inside the drum brakes please?

     

    im bout to order all the parts i need to put the new drum shoes in but im having a hard time knowing where to put the grease.

      Yea, i just buy the cheapest I can find lol

      I would put a touch of the copper grease on each part of the shoe that touches the wheel cylinder and opposite end once it’s all cleaned out of course and the hand brake adjuster on the shoes too, nothing worse than all the mechanisms seized up solid!!!

       

      done it many times, that’s the way we were taught to do it years ago..... god that makes me feel old....

      @Gaz! are you talking about the cable that is hooked onto the shoe? do i just put it on the outer sleeve/coat of the handbrake cable?

      Funnily enough I was just about to post this up, its like a modern version of a one man band, except it doesnt need instruments. Im not sure if it will be to everyones musical taste, and ive never really been into beatboxing, but when it comes to skill and audience reaction, this is IT! Saro is the man, head and shoulders above the competition.

      I wouldnt be keen on trying it on a windsceen, but then ive never tried using brasso on glass. There are proper glass polishes out there, ive got some in the garage somewhere by autoglym, smells really odd from what i can remember.

      A few times at work to test if USB sticks have fake capacities in the firmware.

      Yes, as it writes to every block of the reported size and checks that it's not actually just looped back to the start... which is how the fake sticks work.  They let you carry on writing data but just overwrite whatever you put their before.  Evil really.  It can take a very long time to run the test if the stick is large or your are on a slow USB port.

      Me and my dad had holds at diffrent times for what paypal thought was abnormal activity or over a certain amount ran through the account. They investigated for a week holding money then let it go. 

       

      I wish i was a corp. They all hold our money but miss one payment after they finally refund and all agreements mean skip.

    transferred some money over to my bank from my paypal. as soon as its done that, a message popped up saying it will be on your bank in 72 hours. wth!!

      Not many tools will alter VAG settings. VAG com or a clone of it is your best bet. You could try joining a local VAG owners club on Facebook as someone is bound to have it on there and will usually help you out.

    trying to buy a window swicth for my car, when asked what colour they light up, all the sellers ive asked have told me that they dont light up. they all light up so you can see the switch when you drive at night. im i in the right here?

      cheers mate, dont really understand the sellers who i have contacted. mine is green and i got the red thinking you can only get the green ones. looks stoopid :D

      Haha, Ive done the same, I had to change the headlight selector switch in mine, I got a red and the rest is green, but looks ok because I have red boost gauge and red display on my stereo

    hi guys, just found out last night that when i use the front screen wipers, the rear water comes out too. does anyone know how to fix this please? when i do the rear then only the rear one works.

      i just find it strange that all my other cars doesnt do this but this car does. if it is normal then il just leave it. thank you guns :) 

       

      i dont know if it has the rain sensor on it but when i put it on reverse the back wipers comes on automatically though.

       

      AJ, that happened to my brother in laws and he just got another pump and it worked after that.

      I have most of mine, use them to store bodyshells, other boxes etc.

       

      once the loft is boarded out, all the boxes will be stacked up there, citing me some more room for more Rc and it comes full circle again lmao.

    so the new vorza now comes with 150a esc? with my old one i had to get 150a esc and a 3d plate to fit it on. looks like i wont need to do that now if i do go down the new rc route :)

    ok guys i know i have already asked about this but i cant help but worry. i made 2 payments from paypal, one to buy from ebay and the other was sent to someones email address. im still waiting for the refund to clear from ebay and that was from the 14th of jan. the person i sent the money to his email address cancelled the payment as i put wrong amount on, them 2 payment have come out of my bank and i dont know why.

     

    could anyone explain why paypal would take money out of my bank when both payment have been cancelled?

      EMails are easy for big companies to "lose" :P always ring places like PayPal/eBay etc... And you could try the live chat with Natwest, it's usually helpful for me since I don't have a local branch.

    hey guys, how long does it normally take for the money to come out of my bank from paypal when you purchase things from ebay? i thought it is immediately, just checked my bank this morning and there was something on there from the 19th.

      yeah natwest is quite slow with updating isnt it? im with natwest too.

      wondering if it will update quicker being with another bank ie hsbc perhaps?

      No it won't, from what I understand they all use basically the same system, like cheques take the same amount of time to clear for all banks etc...
