    Traxxas stampede 4x4 kit

    67010_Stampede_kit_3-770x513.jpg

NEW TRAXXAS STAMPEDE KIT COMING SOON!

Is there a monster truck build you have been looking to do, but you don’t want to pick up a some trashed/used Stampede off Craigslist? Maybe You already own a few trashed Stampede’s (looking around, I can see at least 3 here in the office) and you want to transfer the working electronics on over?

Well have we got the kit for you! Traxxas will soon be announcing a new Stampede 4×4 Kit!

We should have all the details any day now, but we did manage to scrape together a few shots of what is coming.

It looks like you will get everything you need except for electronics in the box. A nice clear body to paint up anyway you like, and plenty of Traxxas stickers for decoration.

I think a lot of people have been asking for a 4×4 Kit for a while, and it’s cool to see Traxxas giving their fans what they are looking for!

Sorry but what a load of crap ! Basic crappy brushed version minus electrics and clear shell isn’t a kit ! That’s ludicrous to say the least poor show Traxxas ???

Is it an actual kit as in you build it yourself or is it just a roller?

The perfect base for a custom build and no crappy Traxxas electronics to worry about ?

Must admit Ive always wanted one, and this is the best opportunity,  I saw it on Reddit other day, its $199  on AMain though, which I thought was pricey?

now....lets see how they price it .... probbly £250 or so, I reckon

Unless it's cheaper than buying a pre-built brushed Stampede and selling on the electrics...and I doubt it's really a 'kit' either, Just a roller with a clear shell.... then what's the point.

Stampede 4x4 was always overpriced for what it was, and I don;t see this being any different. It's not even coming with the excuse of providing everything in the box for the novice to buy.

On second thoughts, looks like its based off the `BRUSHED’ version, which I believe means bushings not bearings and those tyres? Also, its unclear if its a true kit or a pre built roller?

NOTE: Model shown completed for illustrative purposes only and is not included.

So guessing this means you need to assemble it ? still wouldn’t buy one, a kit should at least come with some nice hop ups included not just the basic bottom line rtr striped bare imo

I'm going against the grain and saying that I love fixed linkages on a basher. No faffing and the flex for maximum runtime.

I had them on my sparrowhawk and they just worked

How often do you change the cambe settings on a basher?

Until you get the setting you want options are better to have than not after all ??

I guess they're not selling too well, this is a good way to get rid of the parts. Same truck, different box.

i wonder if they are selling off parts to make space for a stampede 2.0 like they have done with the revo, because of competition from other brands, that they cant win by suing this time :P
