    Traxxas Drag Slash

    .facebook_1615878817503_6777486987771981182.jpg

Speed. Power. Performance. Innovation. These are the hallmarks of every Traxxas model, and an unbeatable combination for radio control excitement. Soon, you’ll experience them in a new way with the 1967 Chevrolet C10 big-window shortbed riding on the Drag Slash chassis. It’s much more than a Slash for the street; the C10 Drag Truck is unlike anything else in the no prep scene. It’s a combination of innovative straight-line speed and performance, outstanding scale realism, and the legendary versatility and durability of the world-beating Slash with some big new surprises. It's a machine engineered to perform at the highest level, and equipped so every driver, at any skill level, can race with confidence and have fun going fast—on the street or at the strip.

I'm calling a 2wd slash with the LCG chassis and a few tweaks.

Could be right but I think the big clue is in the title 😂

    2WD im guessing?

Should be  but you never know   they are hyping it up  so we might see something totally new.  But company's have been making drag parts for the 2wd slash.  So will traxxas go with the flow or change it up.

Could it use the 4wd platform to create a line lock on the front wheels? Mini servo to lock a couple of bevel gears on the front half shafts....

Drag cars are 2wd as a general rule, some will be 4wd, but pretty much every no prep 'street' drag car is 2wd.

Traxxas will probably make it 5wd, just because... You know...

That looks mega! Does anyone else wish these drag cars weren't for drag racing? I'd love a 4wd street car this size. More scale proportions than a 1/8th buggy base but more capable than 1/10th scale touring car.

Id love a competent scale licensed rally car!

Looks like they're going all out with this. Wonder if the chassis is revised too?

    New transmission details

First official upgrade for this platform in years!!

Looks nice and if you had a Slash it would be good if it was backwards compatible with order models.

The Traxxas 'think of a number and double it' machine is working again I see.

$499......because the logo is so worth it

That price is a bit fruity when you see the AE and Losi cars around $200 cheaper

Nothing but a newish transmission, no real innovation and double the price of other drag cars, its going to be a hard sell.
Least with no changes or innovations all the old standard parts fit and the new trans will fit in old slashes etc
