EU / UK distribution? So want a team redcat SCT but import fees from the states are a killer.

If there is no UK distributor, Where has Modelsport and Rossmod got there Gen 7's from, Unless they both know someone that know's someone, Who's sister happens to be married to someone who works in the place that makes the little red petrol can on the roof.

I'd imagine the distributor for redcat is the same as ftx/HSP/BSD etc etc......seeing as they're all being churned out the same eastern factory......

Whereas redcat state the gen8 was built from the ground up by themselves, not just a rehashed model originating from the same distributor.... So not sure how this will affect overseas suppliers???

So why only the Gen 7, And why now, For all the years they have been going, For all the cars they have and have had, Why has it taken this long.

I asked the guys at Modelsport and they're hoping to get some of these Redcat Gen 8 rigs in early March. 3 months after worldwide release but better than nothing I guess.

I'm after a decent trail/crawl type rig and think this could be the one. Depends on the price and how much saving I need to do lol.

I wanted the Gen7 but uk parts support is non existent and it didn't get very good reviews anyway.

Which body have you opted for Bix? The scx10ii is probably what I'll end up going for. Plenty of options for customising either way. Let me know how you get on...I'm pretty new to this (after playing with a mates rig a couple of weeks back) and need all the help I can get.

The Gen 7 was tempting, but as others have mentioned, there's very little support.

Long video, but shows the entire truck and details, much of it i really like, to the point of i’d have one as soon as i could, if I hadn’t already committed myself to a Traction Hobby Cragsman

Been watching allot of reviews for this. Save for the tyres, it actually looks really good.

It does look good..... That body looks a tad cumbersome though... I've seen a few vids displaying tyre scrub...unless you get better shocks of course.....

I do like it in orange!
