I managed to blow the O ring in the rear diff! Didn't want to buy a whole diff kit to replace one O ring...so I bought these. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MNLND2L They seem to fit much better than the stock ones! Gonna put 5k in the rear as that's all I have 🙂 Old one left and new one on right.

Getting worse now 🤣 had a destress bash with the stampede hit a curb flat out and broke the front left A arm and the shock exploded 🤣 god I love this hobby 😂

So I was doing it all wrong in the end. So cut a long story short. About 8 years ago I got a Uwell Crown Sub-Ohm tank and a WISMEC RX200 mod. I did really well getting off the smokes until I lost my job and got back on the smokes. Forward to a few months ago and I got back to the ol vape. I was using Vampire Vape Heisenberg which I used before. Its a 50/50 VG/PG. This appears to of been my problem. I kept trying different flavours and each time they just didn't taste nice at all! Like slightly burnt chemicals. But persisted and ended up liking Black Jack. Then I couldn't find it in the shops anymore. Then came the issue of coils. As the tank was old and coils were getting hard to find I needed to look into a new tank and possibly a new mod. This is where I stumbled across the fact that with a Sub Ohm tank you need to be using a high VG liquid!!! So had a look around and went and got an Geekvape Aegis Legend 2 kit (Mod would be £44.99, tank £28.99 - Kit was £48.99...obvious sale on the kit) which came with a free Doozy Blue Razz Berry....and OMFG...its a different world!!! This is amazing!!! So much better and I have FLAVOUR without the headaches too! So I got another one for my brother to try and modded them both 😄 BEFORE: AFTER:

If there's minimal sideways play when diff assembled in housing then shim isnt critical. Normally shims go between bearing and gear not on outside. I havent had mine apart for a long time so dont remember there being a shim.

I put the front diff case together last night but totally ballsed up a shim that sits next to a bearing on the diff. Not sure how important it is as its not even included in the instructions for the rtr Hyper ST.. Its in the exploded diagram that was included with the instructions and its also in the Pro instructions It got all bent up whilst trying to fit it into the diff case I ended up using some metal snips to cut it out as it was easier than taking the diff apart. It was knackered anyway so... 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ There was also a small countersunk screw that was missing, bodged it in place with different one from the bag of various screws. Should be fine... 🤔 Its getting there slowly 🙂

The new Losi ProMoto is not for me, but I dont see how you can come to this conclusion. Theyre stock issues are because theyre not out yet, and these are genuinely ground breaking. £250-350 doesn’t get you anything in RC these days, so dont know what you were expecting. I wasn’t even surprised at the original £709 price. Its obviously not for you, like it isnt for me, but cool and new innovative RCs is great for the hobby.
