  1. Then I decided to completely remake my monster truggy thingy and this was the outcome. A full all metal 3 piece chassis and roll cage then added some new wheels to make it look just right. Of course the powder coating and some plastic panels, I have also added a gyro on the steering servo just to see how that works. Weight without battery is 3kg on the nose. Will post some running videos when I feel better and the weather improves. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  2. Added a little detail to the UDR, painted the grey lego looking fuel tanks, and the jack on the back. Much better in red. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

  3. Got fed up waiting for stock to arrive at wheelspin models so I made my own... Made some new 'uprated' trailing arms and then made some rear suspension mounts. Then finished off the new roll cage with some powder coating and some panel work. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

  4. Gave it it's first run. Car handles great- much different to my 4wd chassis'. First part when I get money is probably going to be a bodyshell, followed by a new ESC (I stole this one from my TT01 racer) and TX/RX. Then I can get on to the upgrades

  6. Loving it [emoji4] First outdoor run for both of our Losi cc's,we spent a couple of hours on the rocky coast where we live...a million lines over natural tidal formed sandstone and acres of huge rock sea defenses all within walking distance. My son turned 12 this week and asked for a proper rc for the first time, hes always been around models from birth but this is the 1st time he wanted something proper. I had to set up a dx6i acro radio for him and im not sure its totally compatible with the Mtroniks ESC.....intermittent rapid pulsing power loss under various loads so stuttering and big sparks on the com????theres so many things this could be and ive spent a long time last night trying to diagnose the issue swapping out parts. Ive read up somewhat about it but not convinced that I have found the true fault yet,its either ESC or radio...next few days I should be able to get him back onto a surface system and I can get to the bottom of it. Both rigs worked very well overall but strangely feel very different to drive back to back........I still prefer the feel of brushed over b/l...just nicer imo. Sent from my BLN-L21 using Tapatalk

  9. Yeah there was another one of these the other week. Lots of of us went for it and got refunded. I’d cancel yours now if you still have the chance but I’d imagine it’s already been marked as posted.

  10. I run mine wherever there’s available space - large gravel or coastal car parks if they’re empty, towans or at the West Coast RC bash track.

  14. Had some 3D printed parts turn up from a guy on the SBR owners groups on FB light bar covers, I’ve got 2 sets of each, Im going to polish up the other set when I get a chance.... And these cool covers that fill in the gap between the chassis and cage Before..... After.... Also I’ve ordered a 3rd channel switch so I can turn the lights on and off and I’m in the process of upgrading the radio gear, just waiting for it to turn up

  15. Making it run 8S is nothing clever. Anyone could do it if their wallet is big enough. Dunno why anyone idolises that guy. He's not exactly a poster boy for a dying hobby. It looks fine on 4S tbh.

  17. Can't help thinking those with a 3d printer may take advantage of this and start selling said items for profit. I like that Carisma has thought 'out the box' on this though, no better way to customises rig than making your own parts!!
