  9. Tuning my carb yesterday when I maxed out the TTO on bull dogs I put trenches on and clearly revved nowhere near 19k, a lot bigger diameter tyres. Now working out the revs with the bull dogs on when that topped the TTO out at 19999 came back at 20500, I tweaked the carp with trenches on and gained 1200revs now if that translated into the same gain if I'd have switch back to bull dogs that would mean 21700 revs out of a 30.5 now that's revs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. I always do speed runs on road no chance of false reedings then, I had bull dog tyres on at the time so 5b sized. I have been having major carb issues with mine my own fault, but on bull dog tyres dry garden (grass) yesterday testing the carb and got 18720 revs in the space of 10ft Latter that day did some speed runs on road to test and maxed the TTO out on the same tyres and gear (19/55, if you actually had done the test without wheel spin I could have worked out your revs from the speed. I noticed no diff from fake Dom to VRC side pipe but my GPS and TTO noticed a small gain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. How olds that OBR motor just replaced my 29.5 OBR FM with a 30.5. You should definitely be getting more speed than that and a lot more revs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. I would advise that you move with the times mate and switch your ESC over to XT60! They are so much nicer than deans.

  24. After spending ages trying to figure out why I couldn't get this stuff working, Banners revealed it was a BTA kit for the AX10 (much as you said above) and that he forgot to tell me he was just giving it me to try and see if I could get it going. I was under the impression it was tried and tested in his SCX10. Arrgh... BAAAANNNNNNNEEEEERRRRRSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! So I ditched the BTA link and tried the one that comes stock, but with the high clearance knuckles it's not long enough so I've sacked it all off for now and put the stock knuckles back on. Is it possible to get links that are specifically shaped and lengthened to get max steering out of the high clearance knuckles? Could you point me in the right direction if so? In the end, my little boy got so frustrated at my incompetence that he insisted on taking the command seat and set to. Turns out he made more progress in an hour than I have all week, AND he did some 'fixing' on the Yeti too...

  26. Finally!! I managed to get my Carnage conversion done. Just took it out, and it is as good as I hoped it would be. With the 25T pinion, it doesn't wheelie. Under full throttle, the front wheels try to lift off the ground, but maybe 1 inch maximum. Next job is to change the oil in the dampers, to something a bit more consistent (one shock has random fork oil from my MTB). It seems to be quicker (top end) with the 25T too, so all in all, a good day.

  29. This is the next "meet" http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/209297-rc-festival-of-speed-2015-event-details/ The previous Jams made huge losses despite the fun so in an attempt to bring the community an opportunity for a long weekend of rc and camping meetup I have joined forces with my other interest ROSSA. See link above for more information.

  30. Not moving far. About 5 mins drive from where I am now, just need more space. Console wise I think Xbox. I used to play a lot of pc games but don't have a lot of time anymore so the turn it on and play appeals. Rather than turn on Mac. Boot windows vm. Wait for steam load game. play Not much of a social gamer and prefer story driven stuff. I might not get a console at all. Only time will tell.

  36. Good to know fella, I've seen quite a few of his customers videos and they seem to be very quick like, so I decide to go for it. It was meant to be carbon dipped, but the company sent him the wrong activator with the carbon and I didn't want to wait Cheers Mark

  38. Yea it's been running for couple of days now..... un-drivable on 17/57 gearing due to the sheer torque but I had some 19/55 gears on the way. Out for a massive 5th scale bash today so they'll be few video of it.

  41. Bash pictures and videos will follow, but just got finished putting the new engine in and repairing the servo saver, so figured I'd upload a few shots For some reason this Baja jumps like crap, just nose dives everytime! It might help when I've got an Uber rear bumper on to add a bit of rear weight, but we shall see! I know theirs a bone here somewhere... Hmmm so this is why my steering was acting funny! New heart, stuck the TGN triple jobby on it for now, had one spare so why not! Also this killswitch lead is too short so just for the gentle breaking in process, it's wired above the fuel tank, not a permenant solution! TR HD clutch system on! She's slotted in nicely! That's all for now.

  43. Done quite a bit on this recently. The proline roof racks have been fitted, a light bar mounted to the racks and it's had a good few runs out now. Apart from an ESC giving up on me (which Modelsport happily replaced, thanks guys!!) I'm well pleased with it. Such a pleasure to drive! A few photos of before and after a a quick video aswell! The winch seems to be holding out but it doesn't have much grunt to it, apart from that I love it! Cheers, Steven

  48. Just fitted a ESP Race head kit to my G320.... In hindsight I really should have gone for a G290 instead of the G320, the G320 is a nuts motor but doesn't really like to rev, but hopefully this will address that, also I've given up on running the crappy DGI gears (heard a few more horror story's) and gone back to the Losi pinion On a lighter note my Crazy Stu chassis should be here early next month
