  2. Not sure that this can be classed as Replica Scale, but bottom half is a replica of a Tank and top half replica of a Dodge van, there have been real tracked monster vans but none I seen in drab green. Bottom half is a Heng Long Pershing and top a shortened Tamiya Lunchbox. Painted in Olive green, some rust spots added and then weathered... why?? Cause I had nothing better to do

  3. Had this turn up this morning, a few quick pics of her stock out of the box first impression are that this thing is built like a tank, its got alloy towers, massive 4mm turnbuckles and real chunky plastics, only down points i could see where plastic shock caps and non locking wheel hexs, which kindly fell off and the pins disappeared under the sofa Plans for today Fit TLR Tuning Tit, along with DE Racing mud guards and shock sock this is whats in the Tuning Kit i got bored and carbon wrapped the mud guards Ive also got a few other bits to fit, but ill picture them when the roller is all together

  10. Well, I was at a car boot sale this morning and i saw this samsung camera. I asked how much for it ( i was buying a padlock at the same time) and she said to keep it. Well i took it home and got started on it. Also my photography was appalling! what i have achieved this evening with my very plain and boring garden So i have just messed around with the settings. I'm very happy at the moment, getting given a free camera by a stranger! http://www.flickr.com/photos/79480626@N06/7281211460/in/photostream/ Now, i took this picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/79480626@N06/7281214122/in/photostream/lightbox/ and turned it into this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/79480626@N06/7281212654/in/photostream/lightbox/ With the help of the software it came with, so far this is quite interesting. My holiday to Portugal next week should see me gaining some interesting pictures!

  14. Great, now can you measure it or one from the other diff so we can try to find a suitable substitute for you? Some digital calipers to measure the inside diameter, outside diameter & thickness will be required for accuracy...

  15. yes buddy terminator is the light to dark band, it is where you can pick up the best contrast shots. aye not cheap at all but a car starter will do the job just as well. would check stargazerslounge.com to see what others have used to power the mounts. gimp is a bit like photoshop just free and not costing an arm and a leg http://www.gimp.org/

  16. lesure battery buddy. check out the powerpacks that skywatcher sell, most leave them and visit a maplins store and purchase a lesiure powerpack/car starter pack. come winter /few months the skys start to get darker, and orion starts its march across the sky (nebula). moon is looking go to, spent 30 mins last night gazing at the beast, the terminator line showing very well ( dark side/light side band) and craters shadowing very clear. got a good 1.05 GB of Avi last night of the moon. i need to have a play with. Edit : small fraction of the 1.05gb worth of data captured, the frames just stacked and aligned via gimp, no other fancy adjustments used (wavelets), the leading edge halo is from the sub standard UV-IR filter, this was grabbed at 30fps - 15 fps and 10fps avi's around 20-50s long. i do have some 720p HD recording but will need lots of work ( bad seeing) Moon 26th May 2012

  17. as dtokez said. Tiff is like raw to, and can be used like a raw file but just less adjustment than full raw pictures. the nexstar cam is just a re-branded philips SPC880 - 900NC, the good thing is it can be heavly modded into a long exposure camera. think webcam but with DSLR bulb mode. not bad. cheap asdacam's have been getting tested as with the Xbox (white)webcam, the xbox camera looks promissing to but no long exposures. the SPC880 and the 900NC are the dogs dangles and sell like hotcakes for stupid money (

  19. looks amazing ting u are picking it up quick raw files are just that, they hold the raw data needed for a photo, not after compression on board the camera into .JPG format. with RAW files u can open them in Photoshop or other software, adjust loads of parameters like exposure etc and compress it in anyway u choose when you have finished bro I always shoot in RAW+JPG mode if I got enough memory space

  22. Pull starter first lol as the seller broke it.. Plan to get a clear shell and do my own paint job, can i only use the hobao shell? Have a pretty good music inspired design id like to do, white zombie anyone?? Dont have it yet so want to check it over and then decide where and if i can go alloy anywhere. Tyres will be on the list too and if we get on ok i might consider a better engine, os18 turbo maybe, not sure whats compatible but can look into that

  29. Slight over reaction... The retina in one of my eyes hasn't performed, so I'm pretty much blind in my left eye... So I think I can comment on this quite fairly. I also don't really don't see the point in putting it in a topic, surely your mates know your username?

  31. For the guy who had a glitch problem with his brand new bullet, be sure to turn on your transmitter first before you turn on your receiver switch. Also make sure that your batts for both receiver and transmitter are properly charged. One more thing, be sure that your esc is properly set up.

  32. Heya Ting, saw your comment on my status, i'm good thanks mate, yourself? Hyper project has slowed down a bit due to lack of funding Should get moving again soon though as I have a job. Your new camera looks sweet man! Will be nice to see some DSLR shots of your Revo, the lenses are so expensive though! Also the space pics would be cool, would be awesome if you could do like a high exposure timelapse overnight and see all the stars going across the sky! As for that tyre balancer, ouch that is very expensive for an adapter, rediculous really! you should try to make one yourself from a hex, get some steel rod of the same diameter as the hole. That should work.

  33. Could be a snapped conrod, Piston jammed in the liner. You really need to strip it to find the full extent. But if you heard a " TING " as it died doesn't sound good
