  1. Yup I post here too, mostly in replica section with my lorries
  2. Sold my drifters a while back and fancied another.. but I wanted something different. So I had a Bruder truck cab spare and figured a drift truck would be cool so got some arch extensions and painted the truck up in Ford Signal Green, made up a basic flat bed to cover rear. The chassis is a Tamiya TB02, with a locked rear diff, and a one way front diff. In a test I realise the rear needs more weight. All that really needs done now is decals - skull themed probably.
  3. The deluxe scenic rust is real rust too, used it on my rat rod. Looking forward to seeing progress on this.
  4. That looks so much better chap nice work. If you go the route of rust give the deluxe scenic rust stuff a try.
  5. Taken a while but I guess I needed some special wheels to suit the truck then saw these on Joes(JTS customs) ebay site and had to get them. At the Leyland show Gareth was selling a set of low profile RC4wd tyres and grabbed them cheap (
  6. the tyres I need will have to be about 75mm give or take 5mm, what size are the usual drift tyres?
  7. I am planning a new project, something a little different and need drift tyres which are taller in diameter than your usual drift tyres. Still to fit on 1.9" wheels though. Any ideas would be welcome, maybe someone out there can turn me some delrin/nylon on a lathe at a price of course.
  8. Parkzone Se5a - 37inch wingspan In great condition a nice stable flier, I will include 1 turnigy 3s lipo and the spectrum AR600 receiver in it so just needs an air use Spektrum transmitter like DX6i. I also have more Turnigy Lipos that I would sell for
  9. Don't use this just sits in the box, so must go. Comes with the original transmitter (2.4ghz), charger (lipo) and of course the helicopter itself. Also included is 3 Overlander lipos (one of which has never been used)
  10. Well its not progressed any and not likely too as Im doing other things so have put it up for sale.. would like to see someone finish it.. http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/182321-tamiya-trailer-project-toybota-willy-rash-shell/
  11. Time for a clearout so first up is a Tamiya flat bed trailer, metal work painted blue (flaking a little) but overall in great condition.
  12. With the spring washer you wont need the threadlock, but if your worried it wont hurt either.
  13. I promised this a while back, for Noj, this is some of rust kit done on a piece of plasticard then the top half was painted in satin lacquer.
  14. before you put the nut on slide a spring washer then a washer onto nut.
  15. Thanks Andy for posting this I have been pretty hacked off about it. This numpty didn't close the car boot while he carried a few bits into house.. there was no one around and I figured I would only be a minute.
  16. I have given it a go and painted up the white walls. Also found some chrome caps that work as hubcaps (22mm chrome button covers from local craft shop)
  17. I think for hard wearing use it wouldn't be great as it is, but maybe with a matt or satin lacquer it would be ok. I have a tub of Tamiya satin lacquer so I will do you a test piece over next day or two.
