LOWER UK MCD PRICES

Yes im a Team driver but believe me if i was getting bad service then that's what id be writing.

Just because i get my parts at trade price doesn't mean they own me or tell me what i can or cant say about them.

And just to put the record straight about the punisher racing at the nationals, Is far (Very far) From stock and the main

reason its having such good results is down to one thing and he's called Steve Haynes <img src='http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)'

Thats what it's all about. I bet you could give Ian Oddie a bog stock FTX punisher and he would win all day long. That's why works drivers are works drivers. If it wins if sells. Simple.

Stevo in an Elcon. Ian Oddie in a Contrast Fuego. Winning races sells models it's always been like that. You don't get noticed otherwise.

So saying that my rear diff case cracked cuasing the rest of the drive train to exsplode wasnt giving them enough info about a defective part???

They replaced your diff for free as you are a team driver end of story. If i rang them and told them that i didnt grind enough of my engine out so the rear drive shaft snaped and caused the front diff to break. I wouldnt be getting a free diff. as they would say its driver error. not the product.

In fact I dont think someone who is a team driver can give a non biased opinion on this subject as its your job as their team driver to support the companey. I used to loan my car out to Toyo tires for shows, And I definatly wouldnt tell some one NOT to buy from them wile they where giving me free tickets (and still do) to car shows like goodwood and such.

KCR are over priced considering what you can get stuff for.

The fact they are lowering the prices doesnt mean MCD have lowerd theirs, it just means they arnt selling enough and as such have had to lower the prices to a more reasonable price so they will start selling again. And with the punisher costing half the price, and half the price on hopups etc, and also doing rather well in the nationals considering its a "BUDGET" model. Of course KCR are lowering their prices. they have to as now the MCD isnt the only capable 4wd car out their.

I remember when you asked me why your mcd would not sell, presume the pics were taken in Bosnia high st :) :) thats always the other problem I suppose

within any warranty has the product been abused or badly driven,so many people try it on,and what is normal use how high can you jump before the warranty

expires, how bigger motor can you fit.Modeling musy be the most warranty unfriendly place on earth, can see a slight Improvment, but until they cost in a 20%

replacement charge in the cost, which means mass numbers or higher prices then we will have plenty to type about .

As for the Punisher the cml cars are heavily modified, and have some very good drivers but why have they not taken off in worldwide racing where Mcd have won,

nothing wrong with driving a car at any price it's down to choice/budget and common sense :)

I have seen a elcon cleon being beaten around a track by a marder that cost no more than 200 quid, with a old tired 26cc engine. versus a cleon with hydros, rhinos and an evo engine to boot.

of course its down to the drivers. thats a mute point. and as for the punisher not being stock. i bet the upgrades it has on it cost far less than the 400 difference between that an your V4. not to mention your Oddie engine etc etc.

But thats going a bit off topic now lol. see you mods are just as corrupt as us sometimes when its something your passionate about lol.

How was my mcd abused. it was used, and raced every weekend that it wasnt broke and waiting for new parts to arrive. unlike your self i race my cars and dont spend hourse cleaning them with special cleaners after driving up and down in straight lines.

it was used for its purpose, to race. If your telling me that racing it every weekend was abusing the car, then i guess the mcd isnt a race car and is a car desighned to drive up and down the local field, and then put up on a shelf wear you can talk about how fast it is in said straight line on said local field. But it was my understanding at the time of purchase that these cars are meant for racing, and if racing is abusing it then I guess the car is unfit for pupose?

Because i raced the car it was always being repaired, upgraded etc. As i couldnt go a weekend without it running. I got out of 1:1 racing because of the cost. But by the time I had raced the MCD for 6 months I think that car cost me more in 6 months than my 1:1 track car did.

I have never heard of HPI refusing a warranty. They know what goes wrong and they deal with it. I think you will be hard pressed to find a unhappy HPI customer who has had the need to get something sorted.

Take the SS exhaust for example. The header used to snap off and it was from rear end landings but HPI still warranties the part even though it had been used.

I have seen engines replaced due to a lean seize. They know what's important and that is not to **** of future customers for something that in reality costs them naff all. But some companies just dont get it.
