Gymbal Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 Depends on your budget mate. I went cheap but reasonable kit.... Hobbywing Platinum 40A ESC, Towerpro MG90's on the cyclic. Don't scrimp on the tail servo though, I went Align DS 510. It's also worth getting the best gyro you can afford, however try and avoid the GP780 as it can be a pig with the high frequency vibes that a 450 generates. I've actually found the Assan GA250 a brilliant gyro for under a tenner from Hobbyking! (I don't do 3D mind, not sure how it would hold up). Feel free to give us a shout mate. Jamem Posted December 27, 2011 Share Posted December 27, 2011 My experience of all of the Curtis gyros is that they suck, big time. Awful hold, nasty feel, and a pig to setup properly. Got high, Not any mods yet however got it a F&H Micro camera for it. Hope to get a spectrum or that new turnigy 9x! My last flight last weekend went very well!
