I had exactly the same experience earlier in the year. In the end I just got the drill bits out and used those to put the holes in (starting out with something small like a 2 mm bit then moving up in 1-2 mm steps until I got to the size I wanted).

I like it, and its a proper keeper........but i do find road cars slightly boring, its faster than i expected might be close on 40mph flat out in a slightly wiggly line, it sounds nice and handles pretty good, the RS4 chassis is light years ahead of similar priced tamiya chassis, i might not run it a lot but its staying
