BashingBrian
Question.. Anyone on here got this body, can you do me a favour please. I need the inner width measurement and total width to outer fender flares ( not mirrors ) Thx in advance
BigGinge
I make it just over 220 mm across the inside of the body (roughly in the middle, it narrows a bit at the front) and about 345 mm to the edges of the fenders. 1

BigGinge
No trouble. What are you thinking about trying to fit this onto?
BigGinge
@BashingBrian just realised I should have said 245 mm on the wheel arches, not 345 mm. Forgot that I wasn’t reading from the end of the ruler.

All I'm saying is it won't be a crawler/trail truck 😉 Ooh I have another question, roughly how much paint/tins did it use to cover it ?? BigGinge
If I remember correctly I think I used one tin of the dark metalic blue, one tin of white and two tins of black (the blue got backed with black before I did the white roof, so I did a second round of black to finish it all off in the end. All were Tamiya PS types and all were completely empty when I was done so if you were going to do the whole shell in a single colour, rather than splitting out the roof, you might need more than one can for proper coverage. The silver paint was just from a paint pen.

BashingBrian
It's the right size, most SWB 1/8 trucks/buggies are 325mm wheelbase 😉👍🏼
