2 stick radio

Hi, new user of rival mt10. 

My hands don't work so the pistol radio was out and I got the Futaba 6L sport. 

Works great but should I be concerned that I can't set the dual rates using it?

Ideally you need it for steering to stop the servo from over travelling, on other transmitters its called EPA (end point adjustment)

Can it be done with my transmitter?

If not can  you recommend one I'd be using with the maxx as well??

I dont think you can.

 

Sadly there’s not many car specific stick radios, I have seen this one that has dual rates, but if you are using it for more than one model you ideally need something with model memory

I can recommend the Futaba T4GRS as well. I got mine second hand for £100 (with metal carry case and two receivers). If it was ever stolen, though, I would pay full price for another if I couldn’t find one used.

 

You mentioned a problem with your hands; one of the things I love about this receiver is that you can alter the angle that the sticks travel, so you can set them to more naturally fit your hands.

Try this, currently £73 on Amazon, I have 3 now. Works well with arthritic hands, (and I’m only 47!) very comfortable to use, has end point adjustment only.  8 channels - I’m running a Tamiya Tipper with a MFC-03 off one so plenty flexible. Battery last ages too.

Nice one! I’ll how him that as he used use a stick one when we first got into rc years ago.
