Apologies if posting this here is against the rules (I'm not looking to buy this), if so feel free to get rid and let me know.

 

Anyway, you should be fine to ship this with the battery included within the UK using the royal mail. As daft as it sounds you could even ship it internationally if the battery is connected to the car when you send it (we use this loophole to ship some of our spare parts out at work where we wouldn't otherwise be able to send a battery on its own). The Electronic devices sent with lithium batteries section on the guide below should give the official details on this but it's only individual batteries (shipped without a product to go in) that are on the restricted goods list:
