BashingBrian
The body really suits the MT410, I just wish it was a bit stronger.. I may buy another one and shoe goo / drywall tape it..!! 🤔
stimpy
Looking good that! I do love an MT410. Went through a few bodies on mine and now run the nuclear waste Russian options when bashing and an old C10 body when on the shelf 👍
collective itch
my first proper run didnt go that well. My old electrics seemed to have some issues, so can see a new setup going in there at some point. I bent two front driveshafts, the grub screw for the rear drive cup came loose even with red thread lock, the bearing pushed through the bulkhead, and the bulkhead bearing ring was destroyed. Ive only just seen there is an updated bulkhead with larger bearings which ive now ordered and will try some serrated grub screws
.AJ.
I would go for a rear chassis brace, I’m sure the chassis flex causes all the rear bulk and bearing issues https://badtouchbreakers.com/collections/tekno-mt410/products/tekno-rear-chassis-brace-short
collective itch
is there anywhere in europe with these in stock AJ?
.AJ.
The bloke who makes them is in the FB group, Micheal Meyer, he’s in Germany but does ship to the Uk, he hasn’t got stock in his shop either, but he does make stuff to order if you are nice to him or he will give you a time frame 👍 https://www.mmm-germany.com/shop/tekno/
stimpy
As per A.J. I am sure a lot of this is caused by flex. I run full M2C braces and bulkheads then TBR bumpers and this has been proper bomb proof. I do still bend/tweak axle shafts a little but nothing serious and they are standard ones. If you are any good with fab work you could certainly make yourself some sort of additional braces. Edited February 28, 2021 by stimpy Axle shafts not driveshafts!
