  1. Just ordered one, got some cheap brushed electronics to put in it. Hoping to get it down the beach once it’s all built up. My second tamiya in my fleet, never had one as a kid so looking forward to it! My toddler is monster truck mad so hoping he will enjoy it as well.
  2. I have an old one of these that still performs well in my hyper vs https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-trackstar-4168-2650kv-1-8th-brushless-motor.html?___store=en_us Is it safe to shorten the motor wires on these, I never really know which ones are safe to do so, and which ones shouldn't be shortened.
  3. Any suggestions for a 2 nearly 3 year old, 3 in march rc wise. Use to get away with giving him a little spare remote and id be controlling the car. he's sussed that I'm doing that now, so want to get him his own so he can try to ge thang of operating a hobby grade ish one. he's had the cheap Argos type ones, but want one with a pistol type tx, was looking a this? https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/absima-1-32-mini-racer-rtr-big-foot-blue-1342152 it has a small tx which would help him leant the controls maybe? Open to suggestions please!
  4. nitro isn't a pain at all, if you understand how they work. Before you start adjusting things, or changing plugs, take some time to understand how they work and what the changes do. If I have a nitro that I use regularly, and its a decent engine with no air leaks etc, then the most it would need is a slight adjusmtne on the high speed, maybe a tad on the low.
  5. See them avaible in the states, so I’m assuming they are made elsewhere. any recommendations for a strong shell for the mt410, my hpi one was destroyed quite quicky
  6. `can anyone shed any light on where to get one atm? is there a uk supplier?

  8. Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know where I can get a pull start for one of these, or are there any are compatible with them? thanks
  9. hobo hyper vs are cracking value, and much better build imo
  10. big up Phil, don't watch too many rc channels nowadays, but do watch yours. And not a tumble wumble in sight.
  11. Went together quite simply, and even though brushed, enough poke to have fun with.
  12. Just ordered a bearing set from RCbearings.co.Uk and trying to figure out if the included esc lipo cutoff is ok.
  13. It came with the cva shocks and updated tble-04s esc. Reading up on its, it seems to have a cutoff, but its 6.2 which seems very low. Anyone run one of these with a lipo?
  14. have you checked the balance connector leads as well on the charger?
  15. Tamiya Neo Fighter, no idea why. lack of slipper seems annoying, but looking for something cheap to keep brushed and annoy my toddler with.
  16. pricing this on ones sold recently on ebay, not sure if my pricing is accurate.

  18. looking to get either a duel or quad charger, preferably with built in psu. Anyone use one of these, which one, and how has long term use been?
  19. id rather buy a losi/hobao et than this. They seem much better value, and matierials quality is better.
  20. all that money, and doesn't have a 7075 chassis or shocks. Jog on traxxas
  21. Want a new charger, ideally a dual charger, and built in dc transformer.  Was looking at the sky rc dual chargers, but its been suggested they have issues causing over charging after some use. What is everyone using charger wise atm?
