Iain .R Posted January 29, 2021 Share Posted January 29, 2021 As some of you guys know I collect vintage action man stuff . (1964 to 1984 ) . Not what we call modern action man 1990 onwards . So once I collected everthing I wanted in that range I thought about vehicles that should have been made so my other hobby if you like started . Iain .R Posted January 30, 2021 Author Share Posted January 30, 2021 As you can see I thought about adding RC stuff to make these run but when I bought a cheap RC (well it was expensive at the time as I didnt know how.much these cost ) it was £60 and I fitted it to the desart jeep with twin gun on front and it would only run on wood floor .now I know the motor was very week and the turn servo woludnt turn on carpet . It's like a museum! 😄 That was a sly bit of tactical planning. As I used to have my action man stuff in boxes and a.cupl shelves in the living room. So I said to the mrs I need to put these in the dining room to sort out the living room so then I said I'll put up a few shelves in the dining room then more then more after a few weeks when the mrs was at work I dismantled the dining table (only way.thro the door ) and moved it in to the living room then bought a HUGE L shape settee and set it in front of the TV so when the mrs came home she sees the big settee which now she can lie on the settee (due to the L shape ) a watch TV then she sees the dining table distract her with the new settee So then I have then dining room success......
