H1q
Hopefully I’m not the only one who has an issue paying strong money for an X-Maxx stand... I was considering the T-Bone version for the X-Maxx (USD50-odd + shipping) but then decided to give it a shot myself. This was £13 all-in and took about 30mins to put together. Happy to share more details with anyone who might want to do the same for theirs!
Kpowell911
Question. Does anyone actually find an RC stand useful for actually working on an RC? Everyone Ive had has looked good, but been a complete and utter waste of time in the real world!?
Darren Frosty
I just stand mine on a big fat roll of tape on it's side if I want the wheels off the desk.
Fred barlow
We found stands are useful at the track for putting additive on the tyres but instead of getting 2 proper ones we use 2 small spares boxes (from the pound shop)

I find them useful for working on suspension or replacing arms, hubs, etc. I use a couple of spare MT wheels as a stand, I don't have anything close to the size of an xmaxx. mydoddy69
I’ve had mine for years 😂😂. I don’t use it for working on my X Maxx it’s for storing it on to stop the wheels getting out of shape 👍👍

rushboy2004
I feel like the poor relation now. I just use a cardboard box (heavy duty postage boxes) or an old house brick for all my models to stand on. On 29/01/2021 at 09:35, Guns said: Question.
